Referral criteria
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept referrals directly from patients and as a subacute rehabilitation unit the vast majority of our admissions are from acute hospitals following a sudden onset injury or illness, rather than community admissions. Your query is best directed to your GP in the first instance who should be able to refer you to more appropriate services in your local area.
Registered with a Southampton or West Hants CCG GP or on a cost per case basis outside of these CCG GP's.
Exclusion criteria:
Have an old neurological condition and the primary rehabilitation need is not neurological in nature.
Require longer term slow stream rehabilitation.
Require high levels of visibility or be supervised on a one to one basis for their safety.
